About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to lead their social media strategy and execution from their Portsmouth office. You will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing social media channels, and fostering community interaction to enhance brand presence and drive engagement. This role requires a deep understanding of various social media platforms, a knack for compelling storytelling, and the ability to analyze performance data to optimize strategies. You will work collaboratively with the marketing team to ensure a cohesive brand message across all online touchpoints, contributing to impactful campaigns within a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing goals and brand objectives.
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, images, video) for all social media platforms.
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends, customer feedback, and relevant conversations.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive online community.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their respective audiences.
• Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
• Strong copywriting and visual content creation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
