About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead their online presence from their Leeds office. You will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and foster community engagement. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and community management. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure our brand voice is consistent and our campaigns are impactful, contributing to a vibrant office culture and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging and shareable content, including text, images, and videos.
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends, customer feedback, and relevant conversations.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages promptly, and foster a positive community.
• Analyse social media performance metrics and generate regular reports on key insights and KPIs.
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to align social media efforts with broader campaigns and brand goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
• Excellent content creation skills, including copywriting and basic graphic design or video editing.
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in an office setting.
