About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Social Media Marketing Manager to lead their social media strategy from their office in Leeds . You will be responsible for developing and implementing creative social media campaigns that enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and foster community growth. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of various social media platforms, content trends, and audience engagement tactics. You will work closely with marketing, communications, and sales teams to ensure a unified brand voice and maximize the impact of our social media presence across all relevant networks, contributing to the overall marketing success in the West Yorkshire region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging and relevant social media content (text, images, video) that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and user-generated content, and engage with our audience in a timely and authentic manner.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, track KPIs, and provide regular reports on campaign effectiveness and audience insights.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and optimization for maximum reach and conversion.
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure social media efforts are integrated with broader campaigns and initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices.
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Excellent copywriting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
