About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Specialist to manage and grow their online presence from their office in Milton Keynes . This role is key to developing engaging content, fostering community interaction, and executing social media strategies that align with overall marketing objectives. You will be responsible for creating compelling narratives, monitoring social conversations, and analyzing performance metrics to continuously improve engagement and brand perception. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns and is passionate about staying abreast of the latest platform trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and publish engaging, high-quality content across all relevant social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity, responding appropriately to comments and messages.
• Build and maintain a strong online community, fostering engagement and positive interactions with followers.
• Analyze social media performance using analytics tools, generating regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media strategies with broader campaigns and brand messaging.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, technologies, and emerging platforms.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in social media management or a related digital marketing role.
• Demonstrable success in creating and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and growth.
• Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting creative and persuasive copy.
• Strong understanding of current social media trends, algorithms, and audience behaviours.
• Experience in graphic design or video editing tools is a plus.
