The Role

As a Social Work Teacher, you will deliver engaging and supportive lessons to college students, helping them develop the knowledge, understanding and professional skills required to progress within social work and the wider health and social care sector.

• Plan and deliver high-quality Social Work lessons
• Support students in developing their theoretical and practical knowledge
• Create an inclusive, engaging and supportive learning environment
• Assess and monitor student progress
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students
• Encourage students to develop their professional skills and understanding
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the college

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Relevant qualifications and/or professional experience in Social Work
• Previous teaching, training or education experience is desirable
• A genuine passion for education and developing future professionals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students
• Strong knowledge of social work practice and safeguarding
• A commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential
