Social Worker - MASH - Nottingham City

Nottingham City is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. As a Social Worker in the MASH team, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting assessments and investigations in response to safeguarding concerns.
• Working closely with police, health services, and education to gather and share information.

• Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Experience working in child protection or safeguarding settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess complex situations and make informed decisions.
