Social Worker needed for our MASH Team in Dudley - paying £38 ph!

• Rate: £38 per hour
• Contract: Locum / Agency Contract
• Hours: Full-Time

About the role

As a MASH Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing and responding to referrals, working collaboratively with partner agencies, and ensuring that children and young people receive appropriate support and safeguarding intervention.

You will need to be confident working in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities, and making sound professional decisions regarding safeguarding and risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant Social Work experience.
• Previous experience working within a MASH / Front Door / Children’s Safeguarding environment is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and legislation.
• Excellent assessment, analytical and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children, families and multi‑agency professionals.
• Social Work England registration.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognized Social Work qualification.
• Registered with the relevant professional body.
• Previous experience within a MASH, Assessment, Duty & Assessment, or Front Door service.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation, child protection procedures, and statutory guidance.
• Excellent analytical, decision‑making, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multi‑agency environment.
