About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Social Worker to join their remote team, serving the community of Cardiff and surrounding areas in Wales. In this fully remote position, you will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide crucial support to individuals and families facing complex social challenges. You will leverage technology to engage with clients, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage your caseload effectively, ensuring the highest standards of social care are maintained irrespective of physical location. Key Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs, including risk assessments and care planning.
• Develop, implement, and review effective social care plans in collaboration with clients and relevant agencies.
• Provide counselling, guidance, and support to clients navigating complex life situations, utilising digital communication tools.
• Liaise with partner agencies, including health services, housing providers, and educational institutions, to ensure coordinated support.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in line with organisational policies and legal requirements.
• Advocate for clients' rights and needs, ensuring their voices are heard and their well-being is prioritised.

Requirements

• A recognised social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, BA Social Work) and current registration with the relevant professional body.
• Substantial experience working as a Social Worker , preferably with experience in child protection or adult social care.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop effective intervention strategies.
• Excellent remote communication skills, including proficiency in video conferencing and digital case management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and work autonomously in a remote setting.
