Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable data pipelines using modern ETL/ELT tools and techniques.
• Build and optimize data ingestion processes from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions and data lakes to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging for data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages like Python or Java .
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing, storage, and access.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on data engineering or data pipelines.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java .
• Experience with big data technologies and distributed systems (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT best practices.
