Software Engineer Deployment London

As one of our first solutions engineers, you'll be the technical owner of a carrier going live: connecting their data, calibrating the system to their trade rules and embedding recommendations inside the tools their commercial teams already open.

This is a high-trust, customer-facing engineering role. You'll define how Solvo deploys, and the playbook you build will be run by every engineer who follows.

What you'll do

• Lead deployments from kickoff to go-live across instrument, calibrate and launch phases.
• Connect customer rate, capacity, booking and contract sources without data ever leaving their environment.
• Translate the rules in a trade manager's head into guardrails and confidence thresholds.
• Run the daily standup and weekly impact readout that keep a deployment honest.
• Feed the field back into product — you'll be the loudest voice on what to build next.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in solutions / forward-deployed / integration engineering, or backend engineering with heavy customer contact.
• Strong SQL and Python; comfortable wrangling messy enterprise data.
• Calm, credible and clear in front of senior commercial stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Nice to have

• Logistics, freight or supply-chain domain knowledge.
• Early-stage / founding experience — you're comfortable with ambiguity.
