Software Engineer I, Infrastructure

Position Overview

the company is looking for a Software Engineer I to join our Core Infrastructure organi s ation . The Core Infrastructure organi s ation ’s mission is to power the company and its clients with secure, reliable infrastructure by advancing hybrid cloud, resiliency, and the the company.dev Internal D eveloper Platform.

In this role, you will work with a team of experienced engineers to maintain and scale Tier 0 infrastructure that’s used to host and route requests to hundreds of micros ervices. You will gain hands‑on experience with C++, Python, Linux, AWS, Kubernetes , Terraform , and n etwork protocols .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test code changes
• Participate in an on - call rotation to respond to critical issues
• Participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with engineers who use our infrastructure and help them solve their problems
• Utili s e AI tools to streamline workflows and boost productivity

Required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical degree , or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule, working three days per week minimum in our London office
• Proficiency with a high - level programming language
• Good technical, collaborative, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desired Skills

• Proficiency with C++, Python , and Linux
• Expos ure to common cloud infrastructure components (AWS preferred)
• Exposure to Kubernetes
• Previous professional experience in software engineer ing or a similar field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
