About the Role

You will be responsible for creating accurate system designs, performance simulations, and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer grid-tied and off-grid Solar PV systems.
• Produce detailed design schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment schedules.
• Perform site assessments and create accurate layout plans.
• Conduct energy yield calculations and performance simulations using specialized software.
• Select appropriate PV modules, inverters, mounting systems, and other components.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, electrical standards, and planning regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in designing Solar PV systems, preferably for commercial or utility-scale projects.
• Proficiency with PV design software (e.g., PVSyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, solar technologies, and energy storage systems.
• Knowledge of relevant UK building regulations and electrical standards.
