Job Description
Position: Solar PV InstallerLocation: Horsham, West SussexSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE) We currently have an opportunity available to join a well-established renewable energy contractor who have specialised in the installation of Solar PV systems across the South-East to high-end domestic and commercial clients for over 20 years.
Solar PV Installer Job Overview
- Installing both on-roof and in-roof solar panels onto domestic and commercial roofs across West Sussex & parts of surrounding areas such as Kent & Surrey
- Working as part of a team and overseeing two junior roofers on-site
- Completing installations on a variety of roofs including tiled, slate, concrete tiles and flat roofs
- Liaising with domestic and commercial clients on site, including providing clear updates on project progress, answering technical questions and dealing with any issues on site
Solar PV Installer Job Requirements
- Experienced in solar panel installations, ideally including both on-roof and in-roof solar panels
- Comfortable in supervising sites and overseeing the work of junior engineers
- Strong background within the roofing industry and confident in working across a variety of domestic and commercial roof types
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Based within a commutable distance of Horsham, West Sussex
Solar PV Installer Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
- Company van provided
- Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (30-minute lunch break)
- 30 days holiday, including bank holidays (increasing with tenure)
- £100 a month lunch allowance
