Solicitor/ Barrister / Chartered Legal Executive Commercial & Contracts (x2)

Warwickshire Legal Services (WLS) are looking for two qualified lawyers to join their award-winning, motivated, and nationally recognised legal team.

As a LEXCEL accredited legal practice, operating commercially on behalf of Warwickshire County Council, WLS is currently inviting applications for two permanent roles in our friendly and supportive commercial and contracts legal team.

Responsibilities

• Play an active role as part of a talented team, working in partnership with colleagues to provide high quality, business focused legal advice, representation and support to officers, councillors and external clients on a variety of legal matters including contracts, procurement, construction, major projects and information governance.
• Develop specialist expertise on high profile projects and improve the quality of service delivery.

Qualifications

Qualified lawyer with experience in public sector legal work (or willing to undertake a transition into local government). Fluency Duty required – able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
