About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Solidity Developer to join their dynamic team, offering a fully remote work opportunity. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying secure and efficient smart contracts for decentralized applications (dApps) on the Ethereum blockchain. This role requires a deep understanding of the Ethereum ecosystem, smart contract best practices, and a passion for building the future of decentralized finance (DeFi) and Web3 technologies. You will collaborate with a global team of engineers and product managers to bring innovative blockchain solutions to life, working from anywhere in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, test, and deploy high-quality Solidity smart contracts .
- Develop decentralized applications (dApps) and integrate them with smart contracts.
- Optimize smart contracts for gas efficiency and security.
- Participate in the design and architecture of new blockchain features and protocols.
- Conduct thorough smart contract audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Stay current with Ethereum ecosystem updates and best practices for blockchain development .
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with at least 1 year focused on Solidity and smart contract development.
- Strong understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and its nuances.
- Experience with Web3.js or Ethers.js for frontend integration.
- Familiarity with development frameworks like Hardhat, Truffle, or Foundry.
- Knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
