Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to recipes and cooking techniques.
• Maintain strict hygiene standards, ensuring the kitchen is clean, organized, and compliant with all health and safety regulations.
• Contribute to menu planning and development, including creating specials and incorporating seasonal ingredients.
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist in ordering supplies to minimize waste and control food costs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior role within a professional kitchen.
• Strong culinary skills, with a comprehensive understanding of various cooking methods and cuisines.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate kitchen personnel.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP) and experience implementing them.
