Manning Global, a premier global staffing and managed services provider specialising in worldwide leading sectors such as Social Media, E-commerce, ICT, Engineering, AI, Automotive and Energy, is hiring for a Spanish Language Manager to join its project in the UK.
Employment: Full time, 12-month contract with chance of extension
Start Date: ASAP
Location: London, UK - four days per week in the office and one day remote (fully on-site from September onwards)
We are looking for a Spanish Language Manager to support high-impact localisation and translation activities across marketing, product and business content. The role will focus on ensuring linguistic quality, consistency and cultural relevance across all (Spain) Spanish-language content.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate, transcreate, edit and proofread content across marketing, product, advertising and legal materials.
- Review and quality-check translations delivered by external language service providers.
- Define and maintain Spanish linguistic assets, including style guides and terminology databases.
- Provide clear guidance, feedback and training to external translators.
- Manage queries and communication with language service providers.
- Lead language-quality improvement initiatives across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with marketing, product and sales teams to align content requirements and standards.
Requirements
- Native-level (Spain) Spanish language skills with a strong cultural understanding.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- At least five years of experience in localisation, translation, copy editing or another content-related role.
- Strong experience in translation quality management and linguistic review.
- Experience with user-interface localisation and digital content environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience using computer-assisted translation tools such as XTM, Smartcat, SDL Trados or WorldServer.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Experience creating and maintaining linguistic assets, including style guides and terminology databases.
- A strong understanding of localisation workflows and processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional or international teams
