Special Educational Needs Teaching assistant

Do you have the patience, resilience and adaptability to thrive within a specialist SEND environment?
We are currently working with the fantastic SEND settings/schools across Nottingham who will be looking for experienced and passionate teaching assistants to join them in the new academic year.
Not only are we looking for teaching assistants for long term/temp to perm roles but we are also looking for people for day to day/short term roles as well.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND
- A good understanding of Autism / ASD, SEMH, learning difficulties and additional needs
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- The ability to support pupils with challenging behaviours where required
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people to achieve their goals
