About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Specialised Cleaning Services Manager to lead their team in Reading . This role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality specialised cleaning services, including deep cleaning, sanitisation, and maintenance of sensitive environments. You will be responsible for team management, client liaison, quality assurance, and ensuring all services meet stringent health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in specialised cleaning and possess excellent leadership qualities to drive service excellence in the Reading area.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of specialised cleaning operatives, ensuring efficient deployment and performance.
• Develop and implement detailed cleaning plans and schedules for specialised projects.
• Conduct site surveys and risk assessments to determine appropriate cleaning methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including COSHH and relevant industry standards.
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities, supplies, and equipment, and manage inventory.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing specialised cleaning services (e.g., healthcare, industrial, post-construction).
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment relevant to specialised cleaning.
• Demonstrable understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to plan, organise, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
