Location: Sefton Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Ongoing

Prospero Teaching are seeking a patient and enthusiastic SEND Tutor to provide bespoke 1:1 educational support to a learner in Sefton.

The role is ideal for an educator who enjoys working closely with individual learners and can create a calm, positive environment where they feel supported to re-engage with learning.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition Develop lessons around individual needs and abilities Adapt resources and teaching approaches Encourage participation and positive learning habits Build learner confidence and independence Monitor progress and provide feedback

Requirements

Previous experience working with children or young people Experience supporting learners with SEND Excellent communication skills Patient, flexible and encouraging approach Teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience desirable Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one Right to Work in the UK Two professional child-related references
