Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new catalytic materials and processes for specific chemical reactions.
• Conduct experimental work in laboratory and pilot plant settings to evaluate catalyst performance.
• Optimise reaction conditions and process parameters to maximise yield, selectivity, and catalyst lifetime.
• Perform kinetic studies and mechanistic investigations of catalytic reactions.
• Troubleshoot process issues related to catalysis and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with research teams and production engineers on technology transfer.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry with a strong focus on catalysis.
• Significant experience in catalyst development, characterisation, and testing.
• Proficiency in reaction engineering, kinetics, and thermodynamic principles.
• Experience with analytical techniques relevant to catalysis (e.g., XRD, BET, GC-MS).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a research-oriented mindset.
• Excellent technical writing and presentation abilities.
