Specialist Cleaning Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Specialist Cleaning Technician for a contract role, primarily based remotely but requiring site visits in and around the Reading area. This position involves undertaking complex and specialized cleaning tasks, often in sensitive environments, requiring a high degree of technical skill and discretion. You will be responsible for deep cleaning, disinfection, and restoration services, ensuring compliance with industry-specific standards and client requirements, contributing to a safe and sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized cleaning procedures, including biohazard cleanup, deep sanitation, and post-construction cleaning.
• Operate and maintain advanced cleaning equipment, such as ozone generators and high-pressure steam cleaners.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including COSHH and waste disposal protocols.
• Conduct site assessments to determine the scope of cleaning required and plan methodologies.
• Provide detailed reports on cleaning activities, outcomes, and any challenges encountered.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in specialist cleaning, decontamination, or restoration services.
