About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Specialized Cleaning Operative to undertake a variety of cleaning tasks in diverse environments across Belfast . This role requires a high level of proficiency in handling specific cleaning challenges, such as biohazard cleaning, post-construction clean-up, or high-level window cleaning. You will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning projects meet stringent quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is someone with a meticulous approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results in specialized cleaning scenarios, contributing to the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of client properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, trauma scene cleaning, fire and flood restoration, or deep sanitization.
• Conduct thorough cleaning and decontamination of sensitive areas following strict protocols.
• Operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment, such as pressure washers, industrial vacuums, and fogging machines.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations during cleaning operations.
• Manage cleaning materials and consumables efficiently, ensuring correct usage and disposal.
• Document cleaning processes and outcomes as per company and client requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in specialized cleaning services , such as biohazard remediation, crime scene cleaning, or industrial deep cleaning.
• Certification or training in relevant specialized cleaning fields is a significant advantage.
• Thorough understanding of disinfection and decontamination procedures.
• Proficiency in using specialized cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely and effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and in potentially challenging or sensitive situations with discretion.
• Excellent physical fitness and a willingness to undertake physically demanding work.
