About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Specialized Cleaning Supervisor to oversee a team of cleaning professionals providing high-standard services across various sites in and around Oxford . This hybrid role involves both hands-on supervision and management responsibilities, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in cleaning operations. You will be responsible for training staff, conducting site inspections, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate is a leader with a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proven track record in specialized cleaning environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring high performance standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleaning quality and compliance with protocols.
• Develop and manage cleaning schedules and staff rotas to meet operational demands.
• Ensure the safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and materials.
• Liaise with clients and site managers to address any cleaning-related issues or requests.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff performance, and supply inventory.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or facilities management sector.
• Experience with specialized cleaning techniques and environments (e.g., healthcare, industrial, post-construction).
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and COSHH regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a management team.
• Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and conducting site assessments.
