About the Role

You will be responsible for driving membership growth, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, managing staff effectively, and maintaining the highest standards of facility operations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve financial targets, membership goals, and operational excellence.
• Oversee all day-to-day operations, including facility management, program delivery, sales, and customer service.
• Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and identify new revenue streams to maximize profitability.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards, maintaining a safe environment for all users.
• Drive marketing and sales initiatives to attract and retain members and program participants.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including staff, members, suppliers, and the local community.

Requirements

• Proven track record in general management or senior leadership within the leisure or sports facility sector.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role with P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial management, marketing, operations, and staff leadership.
• Excellent strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
