Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and deliver high-quality sports coaching sessions across different disciplines.
- Develop training plans to improve participants' technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness.
- Promote fair play, sportsmanship, and healthy competition amongst participants.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during coaching sessions, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other staff to provide feedback and support participant development.
Requirements
- Relevant coaching qualifications and certifications in at least one sport.
- Experience in coaching individuals or teams, preferably within a community or educational setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
- A passion for sports and a commitment to participant development.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures in sports is required.
