Sports Facilities Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Sports Facilities Coordinator to manage the upkeep, scheduling, and efficient operation of their sports venues in Wolverhampton . You will be instrumental in ensuring that all sports facilities are maintained to the highest standards, are safe for use, and are scheduled effectively for various clubs, events, and community programs. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders to maximize the utility and positive impact of the sports facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all sports facilities, including pitches, courts, and indoor areas.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive booking and scheduling system for all facility usage.
• Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections.
• Liaise with sports clubs, external organizations, and internal departments to meet their facility needs.
• Manage budgets related to facility maintenance, repairs, and operational supplies.

Requirements

• Experience in facilities management, sports administration, or a related operational role.
• Strong knowledge of sports facility requirements and maintenance best practices.
