About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Sports Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team in Bristol . You will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of various sports facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional, and well-presented for users. This hands-on role requires proficiency in a range of maintenance tasks, from general repairs to specialized equipment servicing, contributing to the smooth operation of the facilities and upholding high standards of safety and usability for athletes and the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on sports fields, courts, and related infrastructure.
• Conduct repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds as needed.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all facilities meet health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown as required.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a sports or public venue setting.
• Skilled in general building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Experience operating and maintaining groundskeeping equipment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor, including working outdoors in various weather conditions.
