Sports Facilities Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Sports Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of their state-of-the-art sports facilities in Leeds . This crucial role ensures that all venues are safe, well-maintained, and equipped to host a wide range of sporting activities and community programs. You will be responsible for managing budgets, staff, and operational schedules, ensuring a high standard of service delivery within the Leisure & Sports sector. This is a hands-on, on-site position vital to the smooth running of our client's sporting infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of sports facilities, including scheduling, maintenance, and security.
• Ensure all facilities comply with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Supervise and train facility staff, including groundskeepers, maintenance personnel, and event support teams.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, controlling expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee maintenance and repair schedules for sports pitches, courts, gyms, and associated equipment.
• Coordinate with event organizers and sports teams to meet their venue requirements and ensure successful event execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sports facility management or a related operational role.
