About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Sports Facilities Supervisor to manage and maintain their high-quality sports facilities in Edinburgh . This role is key to ensuring that all sports areas, from pitches to indoor courts, are kept to an impeccable standard, ready for use by athletes and the public. You will be responsible for overseeing the upkeep, scheduling, and safe operation of these facilities, managing a small team of groundskeepers and maintenance staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for sports and a keen eye for detail to ensure the optimal functioning of key sporting infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations and maintenance of all sports facilities, including fields, courts, and indoor spaces.
• Ensure facilities are safe, clean, and well-presented for all users, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Manage the scheduling of facility bookings and coordinate with sports clubs and event organizers.
• Lead and mentor a team of groundskeepers and facility attendants, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Oversee inventory and maintenance of sports equipment and groundskeeping machinery.
• Implement and enforce facility rules and regulations to ensure a positive user experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sports facility management or a related supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of groundskeeping, facility maintenance, and health and safety protocols.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team.
