Staff Backend Engineer - Developer Experience Platform

GitLab is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer in the Developer Experience group. You’ll help identify and remove friction across GitLab’s six distributed backend teams, while shaping the engineering experience and platform strategy.

Expect to split time between hands-on coding in Ruby and Go, designing scalable solutions, and guiding improvements to developer workflows, testing, and CI/CD practices within a remote-first culture.
