Experienced and Compassionate RGN/RMN Staff Nurse for UK Nursing Home

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled RGN/RMN Staff Nurse to join our team in a UK nursing home. Our ideal candidate will provide excellent care to our elderly residents, ensuring their safety and well‑being while demonstrating empathy and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Delivering direct care and support to residents, including administering medication.
• Liaising with healthcare professionals as needed.
• Conducting assessments and creating individualized care plans.
• Supervising and managing other nursing staff and care assistants to ensure high‑quality care.
• Following all policies and procedures to provide person‑centered care, maintaining accurate records and updating care plans as required.
• Handling emergencies and unexpected situations that may arise during shifts.

Requirements

• NMC registration as an RGN or RMN.
• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a nursing home or similar setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate and caring nature, with the ability to empathise with residents’ needs.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and needs.
