We are seeking a versatile and skilled Staff Software Engineer (JS). The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of our platform and application services, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, security, and performance. This hands-on role requires familiarity with .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, CI/CD pipelines, Service Design, Design Patterns, and a solid grasp of the wider technical stack. A strong background in agile development, code reviews, and rapid software iterations is essential.
You will sit inside a cross-cutting technical pod, supported by dedicated UI/UX, PMO, and DevOps roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Development: Design and develop software solutions, write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, implement features, ensure security by design, optimize for performance and scalability, and develop APIs and microservices.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, automate testing processes, conduct code reviews, and identify and resolve defects.
- Experience With CI/CD: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, integrate security into the CI/CD process.
- Agile Development: Participate in agile ceremonies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and continuously improve processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a senior Software Developer in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in agile development methodologies.
- Experience with devops practices, CI/CD pipeline implementation, API/microservice architecture, and cloud-native platform patterns.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in .NET and JavaScript/TypeScript, experience with SQL, testing frameworks, CI/CD tools, security practices, designing RESTful APIs, and microservices. Technologies include .NET (6), C#, React, MySQL, Docker, Python.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with mission-critical or SaaS services is desirable.
