Static Mechanical Engineer

North London £40,000 - £48,000 per annum Full-Time | Static Site

We are recruiting for a Static Mechanical Engineer to join a prestigious site in North London, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical building services.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on:

• Plumbing systems

• AHUs, extract and intake ventilation systems

• FCUs and thermal wheels

• Booster sets, calorifiers and water heaters

• Diagnose faults and identify defects, ensuring remedial works are completed efficiently

• Produce accurate maintenance reports, inspections and service documentation

• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of work

• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with on-site stakeholders

• Support the safe and efficient operation of all mechanical plant and equipment

Requirements

• Previous experience within building maintenance, facilities management or a commercial maintenance environment

• Mechanical qualification such as City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent

• Good understanding of mechanical building services and maintenance practices

• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe working procedures

• Comfortable using mobile devices and maintenance reporting systems

• Strong communication skills with a proactive and professional approach

• Ability and willingness to obtain MET Police SC Clearance
