About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and organized Stock Controller to manage inventory accuracy and efficiency for their retail operations in Bradford . This role is vital for ensuring that stock levels are optimized, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting smooth sales operations. You will be responsible for tracking, reporting, and maintaining accurate inventory records, playing a key part in the financial health and operational success of the business in Bradford . The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of inventory management principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records across all systems and locations in Bradford .
• Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts, identifying and investigating any discrepancies.
• Process incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accuracy of deliveries and shipments.
• Manage stockroom organization, ensuring items are stored correctly and accessible.
• Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock turnover, and potential loss.
• Collaborate with sales and purchasing teams to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent stockouts or overstocking.

Requirements

• Previous experience in stock control , inventory management, or a related warehousing role.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel .
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication skills to liaise with different departments within the Bradford operation.
