About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised and meticulous Stock Controller to manage inventory accuracy and flow for their retail operations in Derby, Derbyshire . This crucial role ensures that stock levels are maintained efficiently, minimising discrepancies and supporting the smooth running of sales operations. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring stock control procedures, conducting regular stocktakes, and analysing inventory data. Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain effective stock control systems and procedures to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and reconcile inventory records with physical counts.
• Monitor stock levels, identify potential shortages or overstock situations, and report findings.
• Receive, process, and organise incoming stock, ensuring correct labeling and storage.
• Collaborate with the sales and purchasing teams to ensure adequate stock availability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory management or stock control within a retail environment.
