Job Description
Stockroom Picking Assistant Location: Crayford Hours: Monday - Thursday, 07:00 - 16:00 (30-minute lunch) Friday, 07:00 - 11:15
Responsibilities of the Picking Assistant:
- Pick products against store picking list / works orders.
- Preparing kits for issue to the factory.
- Update stock room bin locations as required.
- Collate drivers in preparation for packing.
- Inspect drivers for quality and advise of any defects.
- Pack drivers in suitable bags/boxes.
- Print and label packed drivers as per sales order details.
- Reduce and keep to a minimum product and component overspill.
- Identification of damaged or faulty goods.
- Ensure the stockroom area is kept clean and tidy daily.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as required. Requirements of the Picking Assistant: Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrate recent experience within a similar role.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills. This role also involves the following physical requirements daily:
- Standing and/or walking for long periods of time.
- Lifting and moving products up to 15kg in weight.
- Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching, and/or stretching throughout the shift.
