Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Stores Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance (C/B) licence to join their team in Middleton.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable and organised individual with stores/warehouse experience and a current Counterbalance FLT licence.
Working Hours
- Monday to Wednesday: 08:30 - 16:45
- Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45
- Friday: 08:00 - 15:00
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and storing goods
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving stock and materials around the warehouse/stores
- Picking and preparing materials for dispatch
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and records
- Keeping the stores and warehouse areas clean and organised
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting the wider warehouse/stores team as required
About You
- A valid FLT Counterbalance (C/B) licence - essential
- Previous stores, warehouse or logistics experience
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- A reliable and punctual approach to work
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- The ability to carry out manual handling duties where required
