Strategic Finance & Governance Director | Deputy 151 Officer

BASILDON BOROUGH COUNCIL is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance & Governance and Deputy Section 151 Officer to lead a broad portfolio spanning finance, revenues, benefits, procurement, audit, risk, insurance and corporate fraud.

This senior role requires a proven track record in delivering a Medium-Term Financial Strategy, driving savings, strengthening governance and building confidence across the council while partnering with the Executive Director of Resources and Governance.
