Street Works Coordinator

Our client, a prominent highway authority, is currently seeking a Street Works Coordinator to join their team in London on a permanent basis. This role involves coordinating and arranging street works on the road network to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and organising street works to minimise disruption and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Liaising with contractors and utility companies to coordinate works Monitoring and inspecting street works to ensure they meet required standards Maintaining accurate records of ongoing and completed works Providing updates and reports to management and stakeholders Responding to public enquiries and resolving any issues arising from street works Ensuring all street works are carried out safely and efficiently Collaborating with internal teams to support the overall objectives of the highways department

Job Requirements:

Experience in coordinating and managing street works Good understanding of street works regulations and compliance requirements Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to liaise effectively with contractors, utility companies, and the public Strong record-keeping and reporting abilities Understanding of health and safety standards related to street works Capability to work both independently and as part of a team Relevant qualifications or certifications in street works coordination
