Strip & Refit Technician – Hoo, Medway

Location: Hoo, Medway Pay: £17 per hour Job Type: Full-time

Temp to perm.

We are looking for an experienced Strip & Refit Technician to join a busy vehicle repair team based in Hoo, Medway.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who is confident working on vehicles and has strong attention to detail.

The Role

As a Strip & Refit Technician, you will be responsible for removing and refitting vehicle components as part of the repair process.

Your duties will include:

• Stripping vehicles prior to repair

• Removing damaged panels, trims and components

• Refitting panels and vehicle components following repairs

• Working alongside panel beaters and other technicians

• Ensuring all components are correctly fitted and functioning

• Maintaining a clean and organised working area

• Following health and safety procedures

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience in a Strip & Refit Technician or similar role

• Have good knowledge of vehicle components and bodywork

• Be confident using hand and workshop tools

• Have excellent attention to detail

• Be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Take pride in producing a high standard of work

• Be reliable and hardworking

• Have your own transport / be able to drive, as the Hoo location can be difficult to access by public transport
