We’re looking for a passionate and technically sharp Structural Engineer to join our talented Birmingham team and make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be a key part of our delivery team, contributing to the design and analysis of complex structures, while developing your technical and project management skills. You’ll:
- Deliver high‑quality engineering solutions and support project delivery across major UK and international assignments
- Work on the design, analysis and checking of structures across sectors — from bridges and tunnels to retaining walls and marine works
- Undertake calculations, use a variety of design software and apply international design codes and standards
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, external consultants, and clients
- Contribute to managing time, budgets, and project resources efficiently
- Adopt the standardisation and peer review of technical work to uphold design excellence
- Make positive contributions to health and safety on projects and across your work priorities health, safety and wellbeing, by reducing and managing associated risk
🧠 What We’re Looking For
We want someone who combines technical ability with curiosity, creativity, and a team‑first mindset. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- A degree in civil or structural engineering (postgrad qualifications welcome)
- A proactive approach to become a Chartered Engineer (ICE, IStructE)
- A good understanding of structural analysis, construction methods, and advanced numerical modelling
- Familiarity with Eurocodes and international design standards
- Proficiency in finite element analysis software such as LUSAS, Midas
- A collaborative approach with excellent communication and writing skills
