Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and other consultants to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during the construction phase to resolve any structural issues.
• Review and approve structural designs submitted by third parties.
• Ensure all designs comply with current UK building regulations and relevant standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in structural engineering design within the building sector.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structural Designer) and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of steel, concrete, and masonry design principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
