Key Responsibilities

• Undertake structural analysis and design for various building types using advanced engineering software.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations for construction.
• Liaise with architects, contractors, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Identify and resolve structural issues that may arise during the design or construction phases.
• Ensure all designs comply with UK building regulations, Eurocodes, and relevant British Standards.

Requirements

• A degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in structural engineering design within the building sector.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Robot Structural Analysis, Revit Structure).
• Solid understanding of building materials such as steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
• Experience with both new build and refurbishment projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
