About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join their innovative team, operating remotely to serve clients across the UK, including those in the Bradford area and beyond. This role demands expertise in the design and analysis of structural elements for a wide range of building projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. You will be responsible for translating architectural concepts into robust engineering solutions, working independently and collaboratively with design teams. Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for new build and refurbishment projects across various sectors.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations using structural analysis software .
• Ensure designs comply with relevant British Standards, Eurocodes, and building regulations.
• Liaise effectively with architects, contractors, and other consultants to coordinate structural requirements.
• Conduct site visits and inspections (as required and safely feasible), providing technical support during construction.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in structural engineering materials, techniques, and software.

Requirements

• Degree in Structural Engineering , Civil Engineering with a structural focus, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in structural engineering design.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Tekla Structural Designer).
• In-depth knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry design principles.
• Excellent understanding of UK building codes and structural engineering best practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, suited for a remote working environment.
