About the Role
Our client is looking for a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join their expanding team in Bristol . This hybrid role will involve a mix of office-based design work and on-site liaison, contributing to a wide array of challenging construction projects. You will be responsible for designing, analysing, and ensuring the structural integrity of buildings and infrastructure, collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyse structural components and systems for buildings and infrastructure projects using industry-standard software.
- Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Liaise with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Investigate and resolve structural issues that may arise during or after construction.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in structural engineering design.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Robot Structural Analysis) and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of structural principles , materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid model.
