About the Role
Our client is looking for a talented and innovative Structural Engineer to join their esteemed practice in Leeds . You will be responsible for the design and analysis of a variety of structural projects, ensuring safety, stability, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural elements for various building types, including commercial, residential, and industrial.
- Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations using industry-standard software.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Conduct site visits to inspect structural installations and provide technical support.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations, codes, and British Standards.
- Undertake feasibility studies and structural assessments for existing buildings.
Requirements
- Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in structural engineering design .
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Robot Structural Analysis) and AutoCAD.
- Sound knowledge of building materials and construction techniques.
- Strong understanding of relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
