About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and innovative Structural Engineer to join their fully remote team, supporting projects across the UK, including those in Sunderland . You will be responsible for the structural design and analysis of various building projects, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while collaborating closely with architects, construction teams, and clients through advanced digital communication tools. Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for a range of building types, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Develop detailed structural drawings and specifications using CAD and other relevant software.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers via virtual meetings and digital platforms.
- Conduct site visits for inspections and surveys as required, utilizing remote reporting tools effectively.
- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies in structural engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Structural Engineer with a portfolio of successful projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a remote environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple design tasks concurrently.
