Key Responsibilities

• Undertake structural analysis and design for building structures using relevant software.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and other project team members.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any structural issues that arise.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, codes of practice, and Eurocodes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.

Requirements

• Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural specialisation.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent chartered status is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in the structural design of buildings, including steel, concrete, and timber.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Robot Structural Analysis).
• Thorough understanding of UK building standards and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
