About the Role
Our client seeks a dedicated Structural Engineer to join their team in Coventry , contributing to a variety of challenging construction and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the structural integrity of buildings and other structures, ensuring they are safe, stable, and meet all relevant engineering standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for various building types using industry-standard software.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and drawings for submission and approval.
- Collaborate with architects and other consultants to integrate structural designs into overall project plans.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams and site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design and analysis in the UK construction sector.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS).
- Solid understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
